Hey Webflailers - it’s Jack.
2 days until I leave sunny Buenos Aires to re-start my life in cold, rainy England. I have this weird hankering to nest - buy a washing machine, rent my own flat and put plants everywhere. As part of this "sorting my shit out," process, I'm also thinking more and more about getting back in to freelancing but not just do "any project any time," like before which was an utter disaster because my portfolio was a mess (literally a quote from an agency owner that roasted my current portfolio)
Anyway, on to today's Roundup.

This question seems to be a hot one right now with people working on their portfolio's before 2024 so I thought it would be healthy to explore. If you're anything like me, you're probably doing projects for friends and family and made up passion projects while also trying to attract clients by cold outreach. It can be insanely stressful trying to build your portfolio while also trying to earn your first freelancing money.
